How to Make Faux Ivory With Polymer Clay

Making faux ivory with polymer clay is an easy craft that will open up whole new avenues for your creativity. You can mold the faux ivory into horns, bones or beads for jewelry. By layering colors, you'll end up with a blend of polymer clay that looks just like ivory.

Things You'll Need

  • White polymer clay
  • Beige polymer clay
  • Translucent polymer clay
  • Pasta machine
  • Rolling pin

Instructions

      Use equal parts of each color of polymer clay listed below in your faux ivory recipe. Run each color through the pasta machine and set it aside.

      Lay your white polymer clay out and top it with the translucent clay. Add a layer of beige polymer clay.

      Flatten this stack with rolling pin. Cut the stack in half and place one half on top of the other.

      Roll this stack out with your rolling pin. Continue this process until the the colors are difficult to tell apart.

      Add as many layers as you like to your polymer clay to create the thickness you need to complete your project.
