Find a website to upload your work to. This might be a personal website for your art, a blog, or an art portfolio site. Popular blog sites include blogger.com and wordpress.com, while portfolio sites like carbonmade.com and deviantart.com are used by many artists.
Name your art files to optimize them for Google searches. Keep the titles straightforward, describing what they are, and using key words that would likely be used to find such pieces. For example, you could name a painting of a sunset by an artist named John Smith "Sunset by John Smith."
Upload your art to your chosen website, following the domain's instructions.
Title and tag your images accordingly. Place key words in the tag box, and title any post or portfolio section that contains the images in the same manner that you named them, straightforward and descriptive. The more common tags and titles associated with an image, the more likely that they are to show up in a Google search for the key words.
Create a Flickr account. Flickr, a photo sharing site, is Google's primary source of images. Visit flickr.com, and click "Create your account." Follow directions, filling out information such as name and email address to join the site. You will then be able to upload images to your account from your computer, and tag them with key words.
