1. Using the "Bullets and Numbering" Panel
This is the easiest way to create a bullet point:
1. Open the "Bullets and Numbering" panel: Go to Window > Type > Bullets and Numbering.
2. Select the text: Click and drag to select the text you want to add bullets to.
3. Choose a bullet style: Click on the small triangle next to the bullet icon in the "Bullets and Numbering" panel to choose from a variety of pre-made bullet styles.

You can create a custom bullet by drawing it:
