Are theirinstruments made of wood or metal in pinpeat?

The pinpeat ensemble includes both wooden and metal instruments. The wooden instruments include the ranat ek, a xylophone with bamboo keys; the ranat thum, a xylophone with metal keys; the khim, a hammered dulcimer; and the chapei dong veng, a long-necked lute. The metal instruments include the gong, a large gong; the khong wong, a set of small gongs; and the sralai, an oboe-like instrument.
