Who and when was Altamont gardens built?
The Altamont Gardens is a public garden located in Livermore, California. It is named after its location on Altamont Pass. The gardens were designed and built by Frederick Law Olmsted, Jr. and his firm, the Olmsted Brothers, between 1911 and 1915. Olmsted was a noted landscape architect who also designed Central Park in New York City and Golden Gate Park in San Francisco.
