He did, however, establish the city of Córdoba in Spain, which under his rule and his successors became a renowned center of learning, culture, and architecture. It was known as a city of wonders for its:

* Palaces and Gardens: The city was known for its beautiful palaces, gardens, and fountains.
* Libraries and Universities: Córdoba was home to numerous libraries and a renowned university, attracting scholars from across the Islamic world.
So, while there wasn't a city specifically named "City of Wonders", Córdoba under the rule of Abd al-Rahman I and his successors was renowned as a city of wonders for its impressive achievements.
