Cut out the felt fabric into an upside-down crescent-shaped piece that is approximately 6 inches wide and 4 inches high. This will be the base or background of your vintage collage necklace.
Lay the fabric flat on the table. Arrange the lace at the bottom the fabric so that it hangs slightly over the edge to give your necklace a vintage look. Use the sewing machine or needle and thread to sew the lace onto the felt fabric.
Arrange the beads, fabric cutouts and vintage embellishments such as old charms or buckles into a collage on the felt. Design your collage necklace any way you desire with a mix of colors and textures.
Sew the beads, buttons and fabric cutouts to the fabric using a needle and thread. Glue the other embellishments onto the collage necklace using the hot glue gun.
Cut two pieces of ribbon that are about 12 inches long each. Sew the ribbon onto each end of the fabric collage at the pointed ends of the crescent shape. The ribbon will be used to tie the necklace around your neck and form a bow at the back.
