Who would perform in the globe theatre?

In the Globe Theatre, plays were performed by professional acting companies of the time, such as the Lord Chamberlain's Men, of which William Shakespeare was a shareholder and principal playwright. These companies consisted of actors, musicians, and stagehands, all of whom were male, as women were not allowed to perform on the English stage during this period.

The actors in these companies were highly trained and skilled performers who dedicated their lives to the theatre. They often toured throughout England, performing in various cities and towns. Some of the most famous actors of the time included Richard Burbage, who was renowned for his portrayal of tragic heroes such as Hamlet and Othello, and Edward Alleyn, who excelled in comedic roles.
