Do the dancers of gumboot dance have costumes?

Gumboot dancers wear regular black gumboots but they sometimes add colourful accessories to the tops of their gumboots, such as bits of fabric, socks or even small toys. They add these accessories to decorate their gumboots and to allow the audience to see the dancer's leg movements more clearly. These items are used as markers for the judges during competitions. Additionally, gumboot dancers usually wear black overalls, long-sleeved shirts or other everyday clothes.
