How many scripts in India?

India is known for its linguistic and cultural diversity. As of 2021, there are around 122 major languages in the country, including 22 official languages listed in the Eighth Schedule of the Indian Constitution. Each language may have its own script or writing system. Some of the prominent scripts used in India include:

1. Devanagari: Used for Hindi, Marathi, Nepali, and Sanskrit, among others.
