Create a natural skin tone. When you expose human skin to direct white light, it can quite often cause an unnatural paleness, or can even wash an actors face out completely. Use Rosolux #02: Bastard Amber in your general lighting to help flesh out your actors or actresses faces.
Create a moonlit night. When a scene is set outside during the night you want the audience to feel like they are outside with your actors. Roscolux #54: Special Lavender is perfect for realistic beams of moonlight while Roscolux #357: Royal Lavender is a great stage wash color to give the illusion of night time.
Create a club feel. Roscolux #348: Purple Jazz is perfect for setting the tone of a bar or a jazz club with accents of Roscolux #342: Rose Pink on your cyclorama.
Create a sunrise or sunset. Use Roscolux #317: Apricot as your sidelights, Roscolux #21: Golden Amber as your cyclorama, and Roscolux #321: Soft Golden Amber as a color wash with your general lighting you can imitate incredible sunrises and sunsets.
Create a mystical forest. Use a lot of Roscolux #382: Congo Blue with Roscolux #57: Lavender as a wash across the stage. Then use a forest gobo and Roscolux #86: Pea Green at about 50 percent dimmer capacity to project leafs across the entire stage.
