Cirque Du Soleil Shows in Las Vegas

Cirque du Soleil's Las Vegas productions are exciting entertainment options for families and fun dates. Canadian entertainment company, Cirque du Soleil, is responsible for some of the most popular shows in Vegas. Their productions involve a variety of performers and are modern renditions of traditional circus and burlesque acts. As of 2010, there are seven Las Vegas Cirque shows to choose from, and one for just about any occasion.

  1. Mystere

    • Premiering in 1993, Mystere was the first Cirque du Soleil show to have a permanent residence in Las Vegas. It shows at the Treasure Island Hotel & Casino on the Las Vegas strip. Mystere is a vibrant and colorful show, with acts involving Chinese poles and aerial high bars. This show is the most rooted in classic circus tradition.

    • \"O\" premiered in 1998 and was Cirque's first aquatic show, with acts including synchronized swimming and high dives. The theater-inspired acts are performed on, around, above and in a large body of water. \"O\" was inspired by the French term, \"eau,\" which means water, and also, the idea of infinity. \"O\" shows at the Bellagio Las Vegas on the Las Vegas strip.

    • Zumanity made its debut in 2003 at the New York-New York Hotel & Casino. Zumanity is an erotic, cabaret-style production suitable for ages 18 and up. The acts include provocative humor, sexy dance numbers and sensual acrobatics.

    The Beatles LOVE

    • The Beatles LOVE is Cirque du Soleil's celebratory musical tribute to the Beatles. LOVE features 360 degree seating and panoramic sound, with edited Beatles recordings as the score. The acts involve performers interpreting the lyrics of the Beatles through urban dance, extreme sports and aerial arts. The Beatles LOVE opened in 2006 at the Mirage Las Vegas.

    KA

    • Cirque du Soleil's KA combines Brazilian Capoeira dancing, martial arts and acrobatic stunts to tell the story of Imperial twins who set out on a coming-of-age journey. The show's title, KA, derives from an ancient Egyptian belief that a spiritual duplicate of a person's body follows them throughout their multiple lives. KA opened at the MGM Grand in February 2005.

    Criss Angel Believe

    • Criss Angel Believe is a chilling magic-themed show where famous illusionist, Criss Angel, stars as a Victorian Noble who explores his own imagination.
