How to Make Fogger Fluid

You can either buy fogger fluid, also called fog juice, or make it at home. While the homemade version of the juice contains fewer or different chemicals than the commercial juice, this make it no less effective. If you mix the ratios correctly you can create a fog that works well in your fogger while saving money by not buying the more expensive commercial solution.

Instructions

    • 1

Pour 1 cup of glycerin into the measuring cup. Transfer it to the bowl. This creates your first third of the fogger fluid mixture.

    • 2

Measure 2 cups of distilled water and add it into the bowl. Stir with a spoon to bring the glycerin up from the bottom. This completes your mixture.

    • 3

Transfer the fog fluid into a container. Use an old gallon jug or water bottle. Label the container clearly so no one drinks the liquid.

    • 4

Wash the measuring cup, bowl and spoon well with soap and water. While food-grade glycerin isn't toxic, you don't want to drink it. Let it soak for a few minutes in warm, soapy water if you have any worries about removing all of the glycerin.
