They are reunited unexpectedly when Sandy transfers to Rydell High. They begin falling in love all over again and Sandy becomes a Pink Lady, one of the popular clique of girls, in hopes of catching Danny's attention. Danny, on the other hand, tries to keep up his bad-boy image by pretending not to be overly interested in Sandy despite being jealous when Johnny Casino takes an interest in her.
