What was William acting company called and why?

The Lord Chamberlain's Men was an acting company formed in London in 1594. The company was named after its patron, Henry Carey, 1st Baron Hunsdon, who was Lord Chamberlain of the Household to Queen Elizabeth I. The company's principal playwright was William Shakespeare, and it also included actors such as Richard Burbage, John Heminges, and Henry Condell. The Lord Chamberlain's Men were one of the most successful acting companies of the Elizabethan era, and they performed at the Globe Theatre and other venues in London.
