How much a year does the average actor get paid?

According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, the median annual wage for actors was $58,502 in May 2020. The top 10% of actors earned $170,583 or more, while the bottom 10% earned $17,524 or less.

Actors' salaries can vary depending on a number of factors, including their experience, level of fame, and the type of work they do. For example, film actors generally earn more than theatre actors, and television actors earn more than actors who work in live shows.

Some actors are also able to supplement their income with royalties from their work. Royalties are payments that actors receive every time their work is performed or used in a public setting.

In addition to salaries and royalties, actors may also receive benefits such as health insurance, dental insurance, and a pension plan.
