Was Johnny Cash the first star to play a concert in prison?

Johnny was not the first star to play a concert in prison. The famous singer-songwriter Roy Acuff holds that distinction. Acuff performed a concert at the Tennessee State Penitentiary in Nashville in 1958. This concert was a part of a series of concerts that Acuff held titled "Smothers Brothers Comedy Hour".
