Ron and Harry are sitting at the Gryffindor table, eating breakfast.
Ron: I can't believe Snape is making us write a ten-foot essay on the history of potions.
Harry: I know. It's ridiculous.
Ron: I wish there was some way we could get back at him.
Harry: Me too.
Suddenly, the door to the Great Hall opens and Draco Malfoy enters.
Draco: (in a sing-song voice) Potter! Weasley!
Ron: (to Harry) What's he up to now?
Harry: I don't know. Let's find out.
Ron and Harry stand up and walk over to Draco.
Harry: What do you want, Malfoy?
Draco: I'm here to deliver a message from Professor Snape. He wants to see you in his office, right now.
Harry: What for?
Draco: He didn't say. But I'm sure it's nothing good.
Harry and Ron exchange worried looks.
Harry: (to Draco) We'll be right there.
Draco smirks and walks away.
Ron: Well, that doesn't sound good.
Harry: I know. Let's go see what he wants.
Ron and Harry head to Snape's office.
Scene 2: Snape's Office
Harry and Ron enter Snape's office. Snape is sitting at his desk, looking stern.
Snape: Ah, Potter, Weasley. Just in time.
Harry: What do you want, Professor?
Snape: I'm here to give you a detention.
Ron: A detention? But we didn't do anything wrong!
Snape: Oh, but you did. You were caught talking in the Great Hall during breakfast.
Ron: But that's not a big deal!
Snape: It's a big deal to me. Now, get out of my office.
Harry and Ron exchange frustrated looks and leave Snape's office.
Scene 3: The Great Hall
Harry and Ron return to the Great Hall and sit back down at the Gryffindor table.
Ron: I can't believe he gave us a detention for talking!
Harry: Me neither. Let's just try to forget about it and enjoy the rest of the day.
Ron: Yeah, you're right.
Harry and Ron finish their breakfast and leave the Great Hall.
