What are the character classes in SWTOR?

SWTOR has eight different character classes, each with a unique playstyle and set of abilities:

Republic (Light Side):

* Jedi Knight: Focused on lightsaber combat and Force abilities, with a choice between focusing on melee combat or ranged Force abilities.

* Jedi Consular: Emphasizes Force abilities over lightsaber combat, with a choice between healing and shielding allies or manipulating the Force to damage enemies.

* Trooper: A soldier specializing in ranged blaster fire and grenades, with a choice between specializing in heavy armor and firepower or infiltrating enemy lines for strategic advantage.

* Smuggler: A charming rogue who uses pistols, stealth, and deception to get the job done, with a choice between specializing in ranged damage or close-quarters combat.

Empire (Dark Side):

* Sith Warrior: A brutal warrior wielding lightsabers and Force powers, with a choice between focusing on melee combat or using Force abilities to dominate enemies.

* Sith Inquisitor: A manipulative and cunning Force user, with a choice between draining the life force of their enemies or using the Force to control them and turn them against each other.

* Bounty Hunter: A ruthless mercenary skilled in hand-to-hand combat, with a choice between specializing in melee attacks or using a variety of weapons and gadgets to bring down targets.

* Imperial Agent: A stealthy operative who uses blasters and explosives, with a choice between focusing on dealing heavy damage or using technology to control and manipulate their enemies.

Important Notes:

* Each class has two advanced classes (specializations) to choose from at level 10, each with unique abilities and playstyles.

* You can choose to play either Light or Dark Side within each class, regardless of your faction.

* Each class has its own unique story and companion characters, offering a different narrative experience.

The choice of class ultimately depends on your preferred playstyle, whether you prefer melee or ranged combat, and the kind of story you want to experience.
