Early Life and Career
Nick Agudo began singing at the age of five. He also played the guitar and piano. He joined his first band when he was 14 years old. In 2005, he joined the band Callalily.
Callalily
Callalily is a Filipino pop rock band. The band was formed in 2005 in Cavite, Philippines. The band's members include Nick Agudo, Kean Cipriano, Aaron Ricafrente, Lem Belaro, and Tatsu Umino.
Callalily has released four studio albums, two live albums, and two compilation albums. The band's most successful album is their self-titled debut album, which was released in 2006. The album was certified double platinum in the Philippines.
Solo Career
In addition to his work with Callalily, Nick Agudo has also released two solo albums. His debut solo album, My Own Direction, was released in 2011. His second solo album, In Due Time, was released in 2015.
Nick Agudo has also written songs for other artists, including Sarah Geronimo, James Reid, and Nadine Lustre.
Awards and Recognition
Nick Agudo has won numerous awards for his music. He has won four MYX Music Awards, two Awit Awards, and one MTV Pilipinas Music Award.
In 2015, Nick Agudo was named one of the "100 Most Influential Filipino Artists" by the Asia Society.
