What does hamlet ask the players to do?

In the play "Hamlet" by William Shakespeare, Hamlet asks the players to perform a scene that reenacts the murder of his father, King Hamlet, by his uncle, Claudius. Hamlet believes that Claudius is responsible for his father's death and wants to use the play to confirm his suspicions. He instructs the players to present the scene faithfully and realistically, and to pay careful attention to the reactions of Claudius and the other audience members. Hamlet hopes that the play will reveal Claudius's guilt and prompt him to confess.
