3. Explore Mahogany Town.
- Talk to the townspeople to learn more about the town and its history.
- Visit the Mahogany Town Gym to battle other trainers.
- The Team Rocket Grunt in Mahogany Town's Gym reveals that Team Rocket is hiding out deep within the ruins next to the city.
- Talk to the man behind the counter in the Pokémart to receive the SquirtBottle, a special item used to water dry soil found within the Ruins of Alph (Route 36), which opens new pathways that lead to more trainers to fight and items to collect.
4. Head to Route 36.
- The next town on your journey is Cianwood City, but before you can get there, you must navigate through the Ruins of Alph.
5. Explore the Ruins of Alph.
- Use your SquirtBottle to water the dry soil to reveal hidden paths.
- Battle the wild Pokémon and trainers within the ruins.
6. Catch the Unown.
- There is a chance of finding Unown after battling any wild Pokémon in the deeper sections of the ruins.
7. Head to Cianwood City.
- Continue through Route 36 until you reach Cianwood City.
