Serafinowicz began his career in the 1990s, appearing on the BBC Radio 1 comedy show "The Breeze" and the Channel 4 sketch show "The Smell of Reeves and Mortimer". He later starred in his own sitcom, "The Peter Serafinowicz Show" (2001-2004), and has appeared in a number of films, including "Shaun of the Dead" (2004), "Hot Fuzz" (2007), "The World's End" (2013), and "Guardians of the Galaxy" (2014).

He has also had recurring roles on the animated series "Rick and Morty" (2013-present) and "BoJack Horseman" (2014-2020).

In addition to his acting and voice acting work, Serafinowicz has also directed several short films and music videos, and has written for a number of television shows and publications.
