Serafinowicz began his career in the 1990s, appearing on the BBC Radio 1 comedy show "The Breeze" and the Channel 4 sketch show "The Smell of Reeves and Mortimer". He later starred in his own sitcom, "The Peter Serafinowicz Show" (2001-2004), and has appeared in a number of films, including "Shaun of the Dead" (2004), "Hot Fuzz" (2007), "The World's End" (2013), and "Guardians of the Galaxy" (2014).
In recent years, Serafinowicz has become increasingly well-known for his voice acting work, having provided voices for characters in "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" (2015), "Sing" (2016), "Moana" (2016), and "The Lego Batman Movie" (2017). He has also had recurring roles on the animated series "Rick and Morty" (2013-present) and "BoJack Horseman" (2014-2020).
In addition to his acting and voice acting work, Serafinowicz has also directed several short films and music videos, and has written for a number of television shows and publications. He is a frequent guest on the BBC Radio 4 comedy panel show "The News Quiz", and has also hosted his own podcast, "The Peter Serafinowicz Show" (2012-2014).
Serafinowicz is married to actress Sarah Alexander, with whom he has two children. He is a supporter of the Labour Party, and has been a vocal critic of the Conservative government.
