Bobby Riggs and Billie Jean King did not play their famous "Battle of the Sexes" match on a doubles court. They played a singles match on a standard singles court.

The doubles lanes are only used when playing doubles matches. The match between Riggs and King was a single-player match, so they played on a single-player court.
