In Lord of the Rings who played queen?

There are a few queens in The Lord of the Rings, depending on what you mean by "played":

* In the books: The most prominent queen is Galadriel of Lothlórien, who is a powerful elf and a wise leader. However, she is never explicitly referred to as a "queen" in the books, though she is certainly a ruler in her own right.

* In the films: Liv Tyler played the role of Arwen Evenstar, who was a princess of Lothlórien. She eventually becomes the wife of Aragorn and is then Queen of Gondor. While she wasn't a queen during most of the films, she was an important figure in the stories.

* In the books and the films: Morwen was the queen of the Eldar (high elves) in Beleriand. Though she is a much older figure and her story is told in the "Silmarillion" (a prequel to The Lord of the Rings), her legacy and the story of her son, Turin Turambar, are important to the history of Middle-earth.

* In the films (especially the extended versions): There are several brief appearances of Queen Beruthiel of Gondor. She's portrayed as a cruel and jealous queen who was eventually exiled.

So, depending on what you mean by "played," there are several queens in The Lord of the Rings. Let me know if you have any other questions!
