Who does paul punch in The Outsiders?

In "The Outsiders" by S.E. Hinton, Paul doesn't punch anyone.

There's a bit of confusion, possibly because you might be thinking of Ponyboy Curtis, the protagonist, who punches Bob Sheldon, the Soc who is killed in the fight at the park.
