How does Mahjong Titans Score?

Mahjong Titans scoring system is based on the number and type of tiles removed, as well as the speed of completing the game. Here's a breakdown of the scoring rules:

1. Tile Points:

- Regular Tiles (Bamboo, Characters, Dots): 20 points each

- Wind Tiles (East, South, West, North): 30 points each

- Dragon Tiles (Red, Green, White): 40 points each

- Season Tiles (Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter): 50 points each

- Flower Tiles (Plum, Orchid, Chrysanthemum, Bamboo): 60 points each

2. Bonus Points:

- Removing the First Pair: 100 bonus points

- Consecutive Pairs: 10 bonus points for each consecutive pair removed (up to a maximum of 100 bonus points)

- All Fours: Removing all four of a tile's set (e.g., all four "Two Bamboo" tiles) rewards 200 bonus points

- Hidden Pairs: Removing two identical tiles hidden under other tiles gives you 300 bonus points

- Kong (Pung + Chow): Creating a Kong (a set of four identical tiles) through a Pung (three identical tiles) and a Chow (a sequence of three consecutive tiles of the same suit) rewards 500 bonus points

- All Kongs: If all four Kongs are formed, an additional 1000 bonus points are awarded

- Game Completion Bonus: Completing the game by removing all pairs of tiles yields a bonus based on the remaining time:

- 1 minute or more remaining: 10,000 bonus points

- 30 seconds or more remaining: 5,000 bonus points

- Less than 30 seconds remaining: 1,000 bonus points

3. Penalties:

- Clicking on Non-Removable Tiles: Each click on a non-removable tile deducts 10 points.

- Shuffling the Tiles: Using the "Hint" button to shuffle the tiles results in a 500-point penalty.

The total score is the sum of tile points, bonus points, and penalties. The player with the highest score at the end of the game wins.
