As Director, Kevin oversees all aspects of the Village's planning, zoning and economic development functions, including the administration of the Village's Comprehensive Plan, Zoning Code, and Economic Development Program. He is also responsible for the Village's land use, zoning and architectural review processes, and works closely with the Village Board and other Village staff to ensure that the Village's planning and development policies are implemented in a consistent and equitable manner.
Prior to his current role, Kevin served as a Senior Planner for the Village from 2015-2018, where he was responsible for a variety of planning projects, including the development of the Village's comprehensive plan update and the implementation of the Village's zoning code amendments. He also served as the Village's Assistant Planner from 2011-2015, where he assisted with a variety of planning projects, including the development of the Village's historic preservation plan and the implementation of the Village's stormwater management program.
Kevin holds a Master's degree in Urban Planning and Policy from the University of Illinois at Chicago. He is also a member of the American Planning Association and the Illinois Association of Zoning Administrators.
