How was the Globe theatre destroyed?

The Globe theatre was destroyed by fire on 29 June 1613. During a performance of Henry VIII, a theatrical cannon misfired and ignited the thatched roof of the playhouse. The fire spread quickly, and the entire building was destroyed within minutes.
