What were the best seat in house Globe Theatre?

There were no "seats in the house" in the original Shakespearean Globe Theatre, which was built in London in 1599 and burned down in 1613. The Globe was an outdoor amphitheatre, with the audience standing or sitting on wooden benches arranged around the circular stage. The best views of the stage would have been from the galleries, which were located above the ground level and provided a raised perspective of the performance. The most expensive seats were located in the "Gentlemen's Rooms", which were private boxes that offered protection from the elements and a better view of the stage than the general admission areas.
