Was the Globe theatre originally called Rose theatre?

The Globe theatre was not originally called the Rose theatre. The Rose Theatre was a London playhouse, built by Philip Henslowe in 1587, and closed in 1606. The Globe theatre was built in 1599 by William Shakespeare's playing company, the Lord Chamberlain's Men, on Bankside in Southwark, London.
