Instructions

  1. Macaroni Salad in a Bowl

    • 1

Roll out long pieces of modeling clay the same thickness of macaroni noodles. Cut the noodles the size of macaroni noodles with a knife. Curve each modeling clay noodle slightly. Fill 5 cups full of noodles and put the noodles in a bowl.

    • 2

Mix half a cup of oil and half a cup of white acrylic paint together. Place mixture into the bowl with the noodles.

    • 3

Add small bits of orange, green and red modeling clay to represent vegetables such as chopped carrots, celery and red peppers. Stir the mixture together with a white spoon. This theater prop looks like the real thing and can be scooped.

    • 5

Glue pieces of macaroni all over the surface of the material using a hot glue gun. Use a thick brush to dab a thin layer of light orange paint over the macaroni pieces and material. Allow the paint to dry for an hour.
