How does the play Othello end?

In the tragic play Othello written by William Shakespeare, the play comes to an end with tragic events taking place:

- Death of Desdemona: Othello, believing Desdemona to be unfaithful, smothers her to death on their bed. Although he is convinced at the end of her innocence by Emilia, it's too late and he stabs himself to death out of regret and grief.

- Fate of Iago: After attempting to flee, Iago is captured by Lodovico and Montano. His villainous acts, such as plotting to manipulate Othello and murder Roderigo, are revealed to everyone present.
