Katniss is a quick thinker and a fierce competitor, and her resourcefulness and determination allow her to survive and even thrive in the brutal Hunger Games. She uses her hunting skills and her knowledge of the wilderness to her advantage, and she forms alliances with other tributes to increase her chances of success.
3. As a symbol of rebellion:
Katniss becomes a symbol of resistance and rebellion against the oppressive Capitol when she defies the rules of the Games and chooses to save Peeta Mellark instead of killing him. Her actions inspire the people of Panem to question the authority of the Capitol and lead to a full scale rebellion.
4. As President Coin's right-hand:
Katniss becomes President Coin's Mockingjay during the rebellion and uses her popularity to rally the support of the people of Panem. She successfully leads the attack the Capitol and ultimately brings about the downfall of President Snow.
5. As a survivor:
Katniss is a survivor both in the Hunger Games and in the broader context of the rebellion. She overcomes numerous obstacles and challenges and emerges stronger, wiser and more determined. She is able to rebuild her life after the war and find peace and happiness with her family and friends.
