How to Turn Off Smart Browsing in Opera
When the "Smart Browsing" or URL auto-complete feature is enabled on the Opera web browser, the browser will attempt to aid in the entering of Web addresses. Opera does this by creating a drop-down box of any previously entered Web address a user may click. This feature is designed to save time when browsing, but it can often prove irritating due to the size of the drop-down box. If you would like to disable this feature, you must access Opera's configuration settings.
