What did they make the lighthouse of Alexandria out of?

The Lighthouse of Alexandria was built primarily of white marble.

It was constructed in three stages, with the first stage being a square base made of large blocks of marble. This base was then topped with an octagonal middle section, also made of marble. The final stage was a cylindrical tower, again made of marble, topped with a mirror-like beacon.

While the exact construction methods are not fully known, it is believed that the marble blocks were carefully cut and transported from nearby quarries and then precisely fitted together. The lighthouse was also likely adorned with sculptures and other decorative elements made of marble.
