How much were tickets to musicals in the 1930s?

During the Great Depression of the 1930s, the average price of a Broadway show ticket was around $1.00 to $2.00. However, some shows had tickets that were as low as $0.25, while others could be as high as $3.00. These prices were significantly lower than the average ticket prices of today, when Broadway shows can cost anywhere from $50 to $200 or more.
