What does Nostradamus was right mean from Disneys Phineas and Ferb episode no kiddie ride?

In the "Phineas and Ferb" episode titled "No Kiddie Ride", the phrase "Nostradamus was right" is used after Buford states what he's going to do to the coaster cart before getting on it, only for said coaster cart to fall apart upon him entering it, fulfilling Buford's prophecy for what would happen to the cart.
