Who funds Disney?

Disney is a publicly traded company, meaning it is owned by its shareholders. There is no single individual or entity that "funds" Disney, as the company generates revenue through its various businesses and uses that money to operate, invest, and pay dividends to its shareholders.

Shareholders can be individuals, institutions (like pension funds, mutual funds, etc.), or other companies that own shares of Disney stock.

The largest institutional shareholders as of 2023 include:

* The Vanguard Group

* BlackRock Inc.

* State Street Global Advisors

* Capital Research & Management Co.

While these institutional investors hold a significant portion of Disney stock, ultimately, the company is owned by all its shareholders collectively.
