Is there going to be a Silmarillion movie?

As of September 2020, according to Wikipedia, Amazon has acquired television rights to adapt J. R. R. Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings and develop additional TV productions based on Middle-earth for a reported $250 million (equivalent to $273 million in 2020); their rights do not extend to The Silmarillion.
