Why Zac Efron on high school musical concerts?

Zac Efron was not a part of the High School Musical concerts. The concerts featured the cast of the High School Musical movies, which included Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Tisdale, Corbin Bleu, and Monique Coleman.
