What are the regular ar verbs in spanish?

Ar verbs are verbs that end in -ar. They are the most common type of verb in Spanish.

The regular ar verbs are divided into three groups:

Group 1: Verbs ending in -ar that have a stressed vowel in the stem.

* hablar (to speak)

* cantar (to sing)

* bailar (to dance)

Group 2: Verbs ending in -ar that have an unstressed vowel in the stem.

* comer (to eat)

* beber (to drink)

* dormir (to sleep)

Group 3: Verbs ending in -ar that have an irregular stem.

* ir (to go)

* ser (to be)

* dar (to give)
