Is pacifism acting like a coward?
Pacifism is a belief or doctrine that opposes war or violence as a means of settling disputes or achieving political or social change. It does not mean acting like a coward. Pacifists believe violence and military force are never the best way to deal with conflict and promote peace. They explore alternative routes such as diplomacy, negotiation, non-violent resistance, and peace education to resolve conflicts. Their actions are driven by beliefs, principles, and values, not cowardice. However, labeling all pacifists as cowards overlooks the courage and moral convictions that often inspire their views and actions.
