How does Macbeth meets hes end?

Macbeth meets his end in Act V, Scene 8 of the play. Macduff confronts Macbeth in battle and defeats him. As Macbeth lies dying, he reflects on his actions and the consequences of his ambition. He realizes that he has become a tyrant and that his quest for power has led to his downfall. Macduff then beheads Macbeth and presents his head to Malcolm, the rightful king of Scotland who then ascended to throne of Scotland. So the prophecy given by witches at start became the instrument of killing Macbeth at its end.
