When Parris says, "There is danger for me," he is referring to the fact that he is the pastor of the church in Salem, and if he is seen to be supporting witchcraft, he could be accused of being a witch himself. This would put him in great danger, as the people of Salem are very quick to accuse others of witchcraft and just as quick to punish them for it.
