1) Rising action: This is the beginning of the play where the basic structure of the entire play is established, where you are introduced to the main characters, the themes, and the plot line to expect
2) Climactic Action: This is the midpoint of the play, the highest level of conflict as the antagonist starts to triumph over the protagonist. At the end of this, the antagonist has almost achieved their goal and the protagonist is defeated.
3) Falling Action: The final conflict the characters face before the resolution. This ends with the final battle and the conclusion of the antagonist and protagonist’s conflict.
