That makes calamity of so long life"
Hamlet Act III Scene I
The line is from Hamlet's famous soliloquy on life and death, in which he contemplates suicide. In this line, Hamlet is saying that the only thing that keeps him from taking his own life is the fear of what might come after death. He is thinking of the afterlife as a realm of uncertainty, where anything could happen. This fear of the unknown is what makes Hamlet so reluctant to die, even though he is tired of suffering and knows that death would be a release from his pain.
