Who invented drama?

Drama, as we know it today, has ancient origins. The earliest forms of drama can be traced back to the ancient Greeks in the 6th century BCE. The development of drama is primarily attributed to the Greek society and culture. Thespis, a Greek poet, is often regarded as the father of tragedy, introducing the first actor to engage in dialogue with the chorus in the city-states of ancient Greece. Aeschylus, Sophocles, and Euripides are widely recognized as three of the most prominent ancient Greek playwrights who further advanced dramatic forms and techniques.
