* Remus Lupin: Killed by a werewolf, Fenrir Greyback, during the Battle of Hogwarts.
* Nymphadora Tonks: Killed by Bellatrix Lestrange during the Battle of Hogwarts.
* Severus Snape: Killed by Nagini, Voldemort's snake, at the end of the Battle of Hogwarts.
* Bellatrix Lestrange: Killed by Molly Weasley during the Battle of Hogwarts.
* Voldemort: Killed by his own Avada Kedavra curse after Harry disarmed him.
There are several other unnamed characters who die during the Battle of Hogwarts, as well as some casualties from the Death Eaters. However, these are the most prominent deaths that occur.
