Did tupac die during the making of movie gang related?

Tupac Shakur was not involved in the making of the movie "Gang Related" (1997). He was already deceased by the time the movie was released.

Tupac was fatally shot in Las Vegas on September 7, 1996, and died six days later on September 13, 1996.

"Gang Related" starring James Belushi and Tupac's rival, The Notorious B.I.G. was released in September 1997.
